Tim Kliphuis and his Trio are now DPA artists after signing an agreement with the Danish microphone makers. The DPA 4099 quickly became the top clip-on microphone for strings after its release, used worldwide for orchestral and band amplification and recording. Kliphuis has been using the 4099 since 2010.
